Delete your KIVO account
Last updated: September 16, 2026
You can delete your KivoClas (KIVO) account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways: inside the app, or by writing to us — the second one works even if you have already uninstalled the app.
Only want to remove some of your data and keep the account? Go to that section.
In the app
- Open the KivoClas app or kivoclas.com and sign in with your phone number.
- Go to Settings → Security & account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
By email, if you no longer have the app
Write to admin@kivoclas.com with the subject "Delete my account" and tell us the phone number you signed in with. We check that the request comes from the owner of the account before deleting anything, so we may ask you to confirm from that number. We handle these requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your listings, together with their photos, video and translations.
- Your profile: name, photo, description, favourites, saved searches and push subscriptions.
- Photos and locations you shared in chats.
- Your phone number and email, and the account itself.
The 14 days after you ask
The account stops being available immediately: your listings disappear from the site and nobody can write to you. For 14 days you can still change your mind — sign in with the same phone number and the account comes back, with the listings unpublished for you to publish again by hand. After those 14 days the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone by us or by you.
Deleting some data, keeping the account
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove things. Signed in, you can delete at any time:
- Any of your listings, with its photos and video, or just the video of a listing.
- Individual chat messages, or a whole conversation.
- Your profile photo, and the profile details you filled in.
- Favourites, saved searches and push notification subscriptions.
If you would rather ask us, write to admin@kivoclas.com and say what you want removed.
What stays, and for how long
A few things survive the deletion, and we would rather say so plainly:
- The text of your messages stays in the other person's chat, without your name. A conversation belongs to both people, so we cannot erase one side's copy.
- Prize draw winners — if you won, the public draw page keeps the recorded name for up to 12 months from the draw date, then replaces it with a generic label.
- System logs — the 10,000 most recent entries, roughly two to three months at current volume; older ones are deleted automatically.
- Encrypted offsite backups — daily copies for 7 days, weekly for 4 weeks, monthly for up to 12 months. Backups are never used to serve the platform; they are restored only after an incident.
- Records the law requires — for example in an abuse investigation, we may keep the minimum needed.
